Gurugram Police Thwart Major Conspiracy to Ignite Large-Scale Violence and Arson in IMT Manesar
Gurugram Police have arrested six individuals for plotting a massive arson and riot conspiracy in IMT Manesar. The suspects, hailing from various states with no local employment ties, used WhatsApp groups to plan petrol bomb attacks on companies. Authorities successfully averted the disaster after recovering incriminating chats, ensuring the safety of the industrial hub through timely intervention.
During the ensuing deep investigation into suspicious activities, police discovered that the six apprehended suspects hail from diverse regions and possess no legitimate connection to the local industries. The arrested individuals have been identified as Akash, a resident of Bharan in the Rohtak district; Harish Chand from Kilbokhal in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand; Pintu Kumar Yadav from Parsahi Sirsia in the Madhubani district of Bihar; Raju Singh from Niwar Mandi in the Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand; Shyambir from Gura Barela in the Budaun district of Uttar Pradesh; and Ajit Singh from Lakhmirwala in the Jind district of Haryana. Notably, most of these men are neither employed by any company in Gurugram nor do they work as laborers in the area, raising serious questions regarding their presence at the site.
Technical surveillance revealed that the suspects formed a dedicated WhatsApp group to deliberate on methods for inciting the public and utilizing glass bottles as petrol bombs to set companies ablaze. The Gurugram Police stated that the primary objective of the group was to trigger widespread riots throughout Gurugram and cause extensive damage to industrial infrastructure. Authorities have already recovered several incriminating chats from the mobile phones of the accused, asserting that timely intervention and police vigilance successfully averted a major catastrophe.
In the wake of these arrests, the police have issued a direct appeal to the workers of IMT Manesar, urging them to remain cautious and not be misled by outsiders or mischievous elements. Officials clarified that the situation is currently peaceful and under control with robust security arrangements in place. Furthermore, the Gurugram Police are investigating potential links between these suspects and similar recent incidents reported in Noida, with plans to share detailed information with the Noida Police for further verification. All six accused have been produced before the court as the investigation continues to identify other accomplices involved in the conspiracy. This decisive action serves as a stern warning that any individual attempting to take the law into their own hands will face the full force of the legal system.
